Visual and Performing Arts bring together the practical arts subjects that give students a balance to their academic studies.

Our students gain confidence in performance and speech during their drama lessons. Drama is taken by every student in the school and is not an examination subject. Our students study music by playing instruments and creating individual musical composition and they develop their skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles and printmaking in art lessons. 

The VPA department and the subjects that are within it encourage students’ personal expression, confidence, imagination, sensitivity, conceptual thinking, observation skills and analytical abilities. They complement literary, mathematical, scientific and factual subjects.
